Product Description

EVA is a thermoplastic formed by copolymerization of two monomers, ethylene and vinyl acetate. The performance of EVA varies depending on the vinyl acetate content. Generally speaking, as the vinyl acetate content increases, the transparency, softness and elasticity of EVA will increase, but its oil resistance, wear resistance and hardness will decrease accordingly. In addition, EVA also has excellent low temperature resistance, weather resistance and UV resistance.
Depending on the vinyl acetate content, EVA can be divided into the following categories:
(1) Low VA content EVA (VA content <40%): has high rigidity and hardness, suitable for the production of soles and building materials.
(2) Medium VA content EVA (VA content 40%-70%): has excellent elasticity and softness, and is often used in the production of films and foaming materials.
(3) High VA content EVA (VA content >70%): has extremely high transparency and elasticity, suitable for the production of high-end films and coatings.

Application
(1) Film, elastic packaging film, heat shrink film, agricultural film, food packaging film, laminated film, can be used as the middle layer of polyolefin laminated film.
(2) EVA is suitable for industrial materials such as power wire insulation bags, household appliance accessories, window sealing materials, etc.
(3) EVA is used in sports goods, toys, cushions, straps, sealed container lids, EVA rubber footballs, etc.
(4) EVA is used in automotive accessories such as shock absorbers, fenders, interior and exterior decorative accessories, etc.
(5) EVA is used in foam products: pressurized foaming includes foam slippers, sandals, building materials, etc. Injection foaming includes various industrial parts, women's soles, hot melt adhesives, etc.

EVA characteristics:

1. Density is between 0.91 and 0.93, with good transparency and glossiness. It also has excellent ozone resistance, good processability and colorability, and compatibility with fillers. It can be used as a modifier for polyvinyl chloride and rubber;

2. It has weather resistance and super low temperature resistance (-58ºC), suitable for icing environment;

3. It has good buffering and shock resistance; closed cells, good sound insulation and heat insulation effects;

4. It has the advantages of moisture resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, salt resistance and good water resistance; it is resistant to corrosion by chemicals such as acids and alkalis, and does not contain other organic odors, antibacterial, non-toxic, tasteless, and pollution-free;
