What is thermoplastic elastomer TPE ?

Thermoplastic elastomer TPE/TPR, also known as artificial rubber or synthetic rubber. Its products not only possess the excellent properties of traditional cross-linked vulcanized rubber such as high elasticity, aging resistance and oil resistance, but also have the characteristics of convenient processing and wide processing methods of ordinary plastics.

Why TPE material  are good for making tpe  car floor mat ?

There are several core reasons for choosing TPE pellets to manufacture automotive foot mats:

1. Superior Slip Resistance.

(1) TPE material itself has a high coefficient of friction, the bottom surface is usually designed with anti-slip nails or texture, which can effectively "bite" the carpet, preventing the foot mats from shifting in the process of driving, to protect the safety of driving.

(2) The surface texture can also provide a certain anti-slip effect on the bottom of the foot.

2. Excellent Weather Resistance and Wide Service Temperature Range.

(1) Can withstand extreme temperature changes in the interior of the car (up to 70°C+ in summer sunshine, and -30°C or even lower in winter cold), and maintain good flexibility and elasticity in a wide range of temperatures (usually -40°C to 90°C+), and will not become brittle and cracked at low temperatures, nor will it soften and deform excessively at high temperatures, or emit hazardous gases (low VOCs).

(2) Resistant to ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, not easy to aging, fading or chalking in long-term use.
