 Why pbt resin can be used for making lampholder ?
 

PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) has the following advantages for manufacturing lamp bases:

Heat resistance:
PBT resin has good heat resistance, heat distortion temperature of up to 180 ºC or more, which makes it able to maintain stability in high temperature environments, suitable for lamp holders and other electrical components need to withstand higher temperatures.

Electrical insulation properties:
PBT  resin has high dielectric strength and excellent electrical insulation properties, which are critical for electrical components such as lampholders, which need to ensure the safe transmission of current and prevent leakage.

Chemical and solvent resistance:
PBT resin  has good resistance to many chemicals and solvents, meaning that the lampholders will not be damaged by exposure to common cleaning agents or chemicals.

Injection  molding process of PBT  resin :

 Drying: PBT needs to be dried at 110~120ºC for about 3 hours before injection molding.The humidity must be less than 0.03%
Molding processing temperature: generally 250 ~ 270 ºC, mold temperature control at 50 ~ 75 ºC is appropriate.
Cooling time:Once PBT is cooled from the molten state, it will solidify and crystallize immediately, so its cooling time is short. If the nozzle temperature is not properly controlled (low), the flow path (water mouth) is easy to cool and solidify, and the plugging phenomenon will occur
 
Note:
If the barrel temperature exceeds 275°C or the melt stays in the barrel for more than 30 minutes, it is easy to cause the material to decompose and become brittle. PBT injection need to use a large water inlet rubber, should not use the hot channel system, mold exhaust should be good, should use high-speed, medium pressure, medium temperature conditions molding processing, fireproof material or glass fiber PBT nozzle material should not be recycled, shut down need to use PE or PP material timely clean the material pipe, so as not to carbonize.
