What is clear polycarbonate pellets?

PC particles, also known as PC (Polycarbonate, Polycarbonate) plastic particles, are high-molecular material particles made from polycarbonate as raw material through extrusion, granulation and other processes. It has excellent comprehensive performance and is one of the important varieties of engineering plastics, widely used in multiple fields.

 Why PC polycarbonate pellets  are good for making LED lighting?

1.Heat resistance: It can be used for a long time within the temperature range of -40℃ to 160℃, with a heat distortion temperature as high as 135℃, making it suitable for products in high-temperature environments.
 
2. Mechanical properties:
Advantages: Excellent impact strength and dimensional stability, maintaining high mechanical strength over a wide temperature range;
Shortcomings: The fatigue strength and wear resistance are relatively poor, and it is prone to stress cracking.
 
3. Flame retardancy: Some PC particles can achieve V-0 flame retardancy by adding flame retardants (such as halogen-free flame retardants), meeting the safety requirements of the electronics, electrical appliances and other fields.
 
4. Electrical properties: It is an excellent insulating material with outstanding electrical insulation performance and arc resistance, and is suitable for insulating components of electrical equipment.

 Optical lighting: It is used to manufacture large lampshades, protective glass, eyepiece tubes for optical instruments, and transparent materials on aircraft (such as cockpit covers).
