Why to add MOS2 to POM raw material?
MOS2 filled POM is a modified plastic with high sliding wear resistance and self-lubricating properties.
MOS2 filled POM (polyoxymethylene) is a common engineering plastic that has its original properties improved by the addition of molybdenum disulfide (MOS2). Here are some detailed information about MOS2 filled POM:
Performance Characteristics: MOS2-filled POM has excellent abrasion resistance and self-lubricating properties, which makes it ideal for use in the manufacture of parts for applications that are subjected to high levels of friction and wear. Its low coefficient of sliding friction reduces friction between mechanical parts and improves service life.
Areas of application: Due to its excellent physical and chemical properties, MOS2-filled POM is used in a wide variety of industrial applications. For example, it can be used to manufacture mechanical parts such as gears, bearings, and slide guides. In addition, due to its good chemical resistance and dimensional stability, it is also suitable for use in the electronics, automotive, and medical device industries.
Processing characteristics: MOS2-filled POM has good processing properties and can be processed into various shapes by injection molding and extrusion molding. However, due to the presence of MOS2, more heat may be generated during processing, so proper adjustment of processing parameters is required to ensure product quality.
It should be noted that although MOS2-filled POM has many advantages, it also has certain limitations. For example, it has relatively poor fatigue and impact resistance and is not suitable for use in extreme temperature or pressure environments. In addition, due to the presence of MOS2, it can be more costly than regular POM.

What are the difference between of homopolymer POM and copolymer POM ?
We call the monomer that makes up the plastic, and synthetic polymers are made of this compound (monomer) by chemical bonds to each other to form a polymer called homopolymer; Polymers polymerized by two or more monomers are called copolymers (copolymers). Polyformaldehyde resins are polymers that are interlinked between oxylene (CH2O)n-. Because the second monomer component (copolymerization component) is added to the seized steel, it is called copolymerization formaldehyde.Product name | POM polyformaldehyde compound granules /pellets/chips |
