What is thermoplastic elastomer TPE ?

hermoplastic elastomer TPE/TPR, also known as artificial rubber or synthetic rubber. Its products not only possess the excellent properties of traditional cross-linked vulcanized rubber such as high elasticity, aging resistance and oil resistance, but also have the characteristics of convenient processing and wide processing methods of ordinary plastics.

Why TPE material can be used for making tpe yoga mat ?

1. Good elasticity:
 This material has a high elasticity similar to rubber, which provides good resilience and impact absorption. This is crucial for yoga practice, effectively cushioning the pressure on joints (e.g. knees, wrists, spine) on the mat, improving comfort and protection.
2. Very non-slip:
 Its surface usually has a high coefficient of friction, which provides both a stable grip with the ground (preventing the mat from sliding) and moderate friction with the hands and feet (preventing the practitioner from slipping), guaranteeing a safe practice.

8. Low temperature resistance:
