Excellent mechanical properties
High impact strength: can be used at very low temperatures, and even if the product is damaged, it is more likely to be tensile damage than impact damage.
Good wear resistance: good dimensional stability, oil resistance, can be used for bearings under moderate loads and speeds. However, its bending strength and compression strength is relatively poor in plastics, creep is greater than PSF and PC, but smaller than PA and POM, and the mechanical properties are affected by temperature .
Thermal properties are better
Wide range of use temperature: amorphous polymer, no significant melting point; at -40 ºC can still show a certain toughness, can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -40 ºC to 85 ºC.
Higher heat distortion temperature: the heat distortion temperature is 70 - 107 ºC (85 ºC or so), the products can be increased by about 10 ºC after annealing treatment. However, it has high melt viscosity, poor fluidity, poor weather resistance, ultraviolet light can make it discoloured, sensitive to temperature and shear rate, thermal decomposition temperature of 270 ºC or more .

Extrusion process technical conditions of ABS tube
First , Raw material selection. There are many types of ABS resin, and the resin suitable for extrusion molding pipe should be selected.
Second , The raw materials should be dried and dehumidified in the oven at 70 ~ 80°C for 4h before production. Control the water content below 0.1%.
Third , Plasticizing raw materials are in a molten state, and the temperature of the extruder barrel is 150~ 165°C in the feeding section, 165~ 180°C in the plasticizing section, and 170 ~180°C in the homogenizing section.
Fouth , The temperature of the forming mold for forming the tube billet is 175~ 190°C.
Fifth, The draft ratio is 1~ 1.2.
Sixth , The circulating water temperature for cooling and setting is 15~ 22°C.
